Letter from Fr Mark McManus 20th August
Dear Parishioners of St Joseph's & St Charles,
This week our Masses will be:

Saturday, 21 August, at 5:00pm
Sunday, 22 August, at 8:45am & 10:00am
Monday, 23 August, at 10:00am
Tuesday, 24 August, at 10:00am
Friday, 27 August, at 10:00am

Holy Communion & Visiting the Sick
Thankfully, it looks like this important aspect of the life of the Church can safely resume as long as sensible precautions are undertaken. If you or someone you know would like a visit please speak with Fr M or our deacon, Simon. Likewise, if you are an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and would like to resume (or commence) visiting someone regularly and taking them the Blessed Sacrament then please speak with one of the clergy.

Church Cleaning & Readers
If anyone would like to help with the cleaning of our church or would like to assist in the celebration of Mass by reading then please do not hesitate to let me know. Thank you.

Altar servers
Hopefully, we will soon be able to have people assisting at the altar again. If you would like to resume serving at holy Mass or would like to begin doing so (and you have celebrated your First Holy Communion) then please speak with Fr M or our deacon, Simon

Attending church
Face coverings are strongly encouraged.

You MUST NOT come to church if: You are unwell or somebody in your household has coronavirus symptoms, for example a cough or high temperature. Please follow the directions of the stewards.

Finally, this week's newsletter is here.

Our Lady of Walsingham, pray for us.
St Joseph, pray for us.
St Charles Borromeo, pray for us.

With my prayers,
Rev. Mark McManus
