Letter from Fr Mark McManus 11th February |
Dear Parishioners of St Joseph's & St Charles', |
Well done to all for last weekend's reverent and orderly return to the regular reception of Holy Communion. I must confess, that I had wondered if we might end up with the sacramental equivalent to a pile-up and gridlock on the M25! Thank you to all for the care and consideration shown to others around you.
Our Masses this week are: Saturday, 12 February, at 5:00pm
Sunday, 13 February, at 8:45am & 10:00am Tuesday, 15 February, at 10:00am Wednesday, 16 February, at 11:00am Thursday, 17 February, at 10:00am Friday, 18 February, at 11:00am Church Cleaning
Please consider giving some time to this important and valuable service. A group of dedicated and faithful people have enabled us to stay open over these past twenty-two months and for this we are all extremely grateful. Can you give some time? If you can and would like to go on the rota please contact Pauline Williams by phone or text, tel. 07914 969106.
The Piety Stall
The Piety Stall is once again open and has a selection of items in anticipation of Lent and Easter. Opening times are after the Saturday vigil Mass and from 9:15am to 9:55am on Sundays, i.e. between the morning Masses.
Half-Term
We wish a safe and refreshing break to all the members and families of our school communities after what has undoubtedly been a demanding few weeks.
Finally, here is this week's newsletter and intentions for prayer. Our Lady of Walsingham, pray for us. St Joseph, pray for us. St Charles Borromeo, pray for us. With my prayers, Rev. Mark McManus Parish Priest |
