First Holy Communion Preparation
The final meeting for the children will be this Saturday, 29 April, from 9.30am until 12 Noon in the Y4 classroom at St Joseph's School.As the formal preparation concludes - including celebrating First Confession - I invite parents to make arrangements for a date to celebrate their child's First Holy Communion. Good Shepherd Sunday Collection This weekend there is a retiring collection for the diocesan Priests' Training Fund. Novena to Our Lady Perpetual Succour Our annual novena will run for nine Tuesdays and begins this Tuesday, 2 May, at 7.00pm. Mass & Prayers for the Coronation The Bishops' Conference has asked that Mass be celebrated for the intention of the Coronation of King Charles III on Friday, 5 May. The Prayer for the King will be said before the final blessing at all our Masses that weekend and the national anthem will be sung at both the Saturday vigil Mass and Sunday, 10.00am Mass. The Bishops' Conference has also sent some prayer cards for the occasion that are available for you to take at the back of the church. Finally, here are this week's newsletter, and intentions.
