Letter from Fr Mark McManus 26th December

Dear Parishioners of St Joseph's & St Charles,

Thank You Our beautiful church looked splendid at Christmas. Thank you to all who helped to prepare, decorate, and clean it and particular thanks must go to our flower arrangers for their skill and dedication. We also thank St Joseph's Choir for their singing at the Christmas liturgies and our organist and choirmaster, Christopher Edge. Finally, thank you for your generous cards, gifts and Christmas offerings and for all your kindnesses and encouragements over the past year. They are much appreciated. I shall offer the holy sacrifice of the Mass for you all this coming Sunday in Rome. Mass at 9.00am on Monday, 6 January Please note that the 10.30am Funeral for Ann Rowan RIP (formerly Ann Sweeney) on Monday, 6 January, will be a funeral service. There will therefore be a Mass at 9.00am on that day. Here is this week's intercessions for this Sunday and the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God on New Year's Day.
