Dear Parishioners of St Joseph's & St Charles,

Sacrament of Confirmation Bishop Heskett will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation, next Saturday, 25 May, at 5.00pm. Please remember the candidates and their families and sponsor in your prayers. 'Suffer the little children to come unto me...' In accordance with good Safeguarding practice I kindly remind parents and guardians that children (especially infants) should not go to the toilet or anywhere else during Mass or other services unaccompanied. Likewise, given the presence of older bones and joints, I ask that young children not run around inside the church and that they be attentive to the presence of others, especially at Holy Communion. In addition, it is of course of equal importance that care is taken outside the church particularly with regard to moving vehicles. Many thanks. Here is this week's newsletter and intentions.
