Dear Parishioners of St Joseph's & St Charles,

Retiring Collection This Weekend There is a retiring collection in support of the work of the Bishops' Conference Evangelii Gaudium - The Joy of the Gospel (formerly Home Mission Sunday), this weekend, 14 & 15 September. Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross This Saturday, 14 September, is the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. As this is a feast day of the Lord we will celebrate this liturgy, with its proper readings and prayers, at the 5.00pm vigil Mass. Eucharistic Adoration this Saturday, 14 September To mark Adoremus, the 24th National Eucharistic Congress, we will have Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament on the same morning from 9.30 - 10.30am. This will enable us to unite with those at the congress as we come before the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament in prayerful preparation for the Jubilee Year of 2025. In order to foster further and regular Eucharistic devotion we will, subsequently, have Exposition & Benediction on the first Saturday morning of the month, from 9.30 - 10.30am. This will commence on Saturday, 5 October. All Saints Catholic High School Vacancy Technician for Design Technology (Product Design & Electronics) required as soon as possible. Grade 3 Scale Points 5 - 6 (£23,500 - £23,893) pro rata (pending pay award). Actual Salary £10,927 - £11,109 with no previous service 20 hours per week over 39 weeks per year.
