Dear Parishioners of St Joseph's & St Charles,

N.B. The shorter form of the Passion will be read at the 8.45am Mass this Sunday, 13 April. Spring Cleaning Volunteers are wanted to help with Spring cleaning the church on Holy Saturday morning, 19 April, from 9am to 11am. There are lots of little jobs as well as sweeping and mopping so all are welcome. Many thanks. Easter Flowers There is a retiring collection this weekend, 12 & 13 April, to help decorate our beautiful church for Easter. The Washing of Feet Maundy Thursday, Mass of the Lord's Supper: the Washing of Feet: There is a list at the back of church for 12 people who are willing to sign-up and take part by having a foot washed during this celebration. Many thanks. The Holy Places On Good Friday there will be a retiring collection to support the upkeep of The Holy Places in the Holy Land. Confessions at St Marie's Cathedral During Holy Week, there are extended Confessions times available at the cathedral Confessions will be heard by two priests at the usual times (11.30am - 12.15pm) on Monday, 7 April and Tuesday, 15 April. Also on Monday and Tuesday Confessions will be heard after the 5.30pm Mass. On Wednesday, 16 April, Confessions will be heard from 4.30 - 5.15pm. On Maundy Thursday, 17 April, Confessions will be heard from 11.00am - 1.30pm. On Good Friday, 18 April, Confessions will be heard from 11.00am - 12.00pm.
